Volunteer Opportunities
Events: Help organize and carry out annual events. Join an event planning committee. Help us decorate. Help us sell tickets. These are some ways you can help out with our events. Groups are always welcome to volunteer at events!
Office Volunteer: Half-day shifts from 9 am-1 pm and 1 pm-5 pm. File, answer phones, complete phone intakes for prospective clients, and work on side projects as time permits.
Thrift Shop Volunteer: Any given day in the thrift shop, you’ll sort through clothing and other donated items, price items, and help keep the whole store tidy and clean. We have special need for volunteers during our big sales, which include the Blowout Sale every 2nd Saturday of the month, an anniversary sale on the 25th of each month in 2017, and a Dollar Sale on the last Thursday of every month.
Share-A-Meal Program: Experience a family-style dinner with our clients. Volunteers provide the meal and some much-needed social time after clean-up. Bring along games, cards, etc. for some added fun.
